Pretty sure this song is about drugs and becoming addicted. "Don't get lost in heaven" means don't single mindedly seek out cheap and easy pleasure.

This song always reminds me of when me and my friend walked home from our summer jobs. We would listen to this album the whole way back home when we were super tired and almost home we would hear this song and...just be really happy. Now everytime me and my friend listen to it we get reminded of so many memories.

Man. The first CD I ever asked for at age 10. I would always just listen to my brothers CDs but Demon Days was the first purchase and my brothers Gorillaz 2001 is what got me hooked. Damn near 20 years later and still my favorite gorillaz album. So much genre and style in one album.

Dude, this song is so majestic and heavenly to listen to. It feels like an ending to a story that you really have to think about if it was a good or bad one. It feels like your taking a joruney into another world in a dream, and those "ahhs" at the end just were so beautiful and felt different. It made my heart race and honestly its one of the only songs that have made me feel true emotion that is so very hard to explain. Had the same feeling with that girl in "all alone." I've always loved this album, and i especially love how listening to the entire album is a whole song that is taking you on an emotional rollercoaster that makes you almost experience the story of the album. This was such an amazing album, and it will always have a place in my heart. ❤

Just realized that this song is basically a sequel/epilogue to Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey's Head, since 2-D's lyrics sound like the prespective of an outsider witnessing the volcanic eruption of the Monkey or maybe even the aftermath.
