Really gotta love how no matter how super natural, strange, or just downright impossible, the Gorillaz will go along with it like it's a normal part of life. To living in a cursed studio overlooking a graveyard, a island made up of washed up garbage and plastic, to living in a neighborhood filled with cultists. I love this band. 🖤

3 months ago, I was fortunate to see Gorillaz Live in Cologne. I waited for that moment of seeing them live.. for over 12 years. I got to hug Damien Albarn when he went into the crowd. I can confidently say, if I die at any time I will be happy. They are the best band I have ever listened to. a band that changed my life. for the better! Love from Germany

The visuals distracted me from listening to the audio at first, had to go through my history and replay it after a few hours after I could not get what I tune I was humming and realized I had watched this earlier.

So I'm finishing up a college course on the Religion of Popular Music, and Gorillaz is mentioned in our textbook under virtual bands. A really interesting course discussing how bands and music have replaced the function of traditional religion in many people's lives, even in a small way, and how many bands have a "pop cult" around them. Its good to see our band has finally made the full leap into a true cult, and I for one look forward to what our Dear Leader has in store for us!
