This song really hits home for me. My Dad passed away last year and the last time I had talked to him I introduced him to Gorillaz and he loved their songs. I heard this song for the first time at the Gorillaz concert in Dallas and cried when I heard the words, “Don’t be sad for me.” “And my intent is to breathe in a new world.” In a way it feels like a farewell from my Dad.

I swear Damon is making it harder and harder to picture the virtual members playing the songs with their instruments, especially because of the multiple 2D voice tracks, just bring back Noodle's voice smh.

Been having a horrible mental health month. Moneys been slim, feeling horrible about my body, car almost broke down, spilt water on my laptop, works been overloading. But this. This just makes me so happy, you guys have always been my comfort band. And to this day I still love you guys so much. This song just made my day a whole lot brighter. Thank you :’)

It’s crazy how Skinny Apez manage to create such amazing tracks! They are consistently making great music and that’s hella impressive! I’ll be sure to add Gorilla into my playlist, the song is fascinating!

I’ll say this million and million of times: I am in love with Damon’s voice 🥺 any song where he sings brings me joy. This track is very good, especially in parts where it becomes more energetic hehe

As I got a third of the way through the song, I thought to myself: "This is nice, but it probably needs a lift in energy". So up until halfway through the track I expected a number of moments to mark this increase, but then I gave up trying to predict its appearance. Then the double time came out of nowhere and gave me a very pleasant surprise! Combined with the mention of a new world this made for a happy and valiant song that I'll for sure be listening to again

Cracker Island seems like it's going to be a huge mix of all different Gorillaz styles - This song really makes me feel like it's a long lost brother of The Fall album.

This song is so sickeningly nostalgic that when it randomly appeared in my playlist, it took me straight back to when I first discovered Gorillaz. I couldn't help but chuckle and smile while listening, it makes me so happy but it so beautiful and melancholic I also got slightly teary eyed. I love this band so much 😭💜

Been listening since 2001. The sounds have kept up with me or maybe I with them, I have been growing up with these sounds and shall continue to do so until the day I go down. For reference, technically Noodle and I are the same age.

Gorillas out here pumping out banger after banger since 1998. I'm amazed how every album can sound completely different while never not feeling like you're listening to Gorillaz. Not too many groups could shift styles that much and still feel consistent.
